B.P.T Course Details

  • Bachelor of physiotherapy is a 4 ½ years course with integrated academic and clinical training along with hands on skills specifically to meet the highest demand in the healthcare and to make them more competent in the competitive world.

     

    • Duration

    4 years course as per the academic calender followed by 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship.

    • Qualification

    Intermediate/APOSS (10+2 Patter) or its equivalent examination with Botany, Zoology Physics and Chemistry Intermediate Vocational (Physiotherapy) with Bridge course or Inter Vocational with Bridge course

    • Age

    17 years by December of year of admission

    • Qualifying Exam

    Based on the marks scored in science subjects (PCB) in the Intermediate board examination or its equivalent examination.

M.P.T Course Details

  • Master of physiotherapy is a 2 years Postgraduate course with specializations in the various fields of medicine to make the individual highly skillful in the specified branch.

    • Qualification

    BPT Degree of Dr.NTR UHS or equivalent Degree and had completed an internship on or before the date notified.

Diploma in Yoga Course Details

  • Eligibility

    INTERMEDIATE (10+2) OR ANY QUALIFYING EXAMINATION EQUIVALENT TO INTERMEDIATE

    • Category - 60% - 30 seats
    • Category - 40% - 20 seats

    ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

    Category - A:  These seats are to be filled in through the counseling by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada as per the merit of the candidates in IPE ( Group subjects).

    Category - B:   These seats shall be filled by the management of individual institutions as per the merit of the candidates.
